Radiator not getting warm - Before we send contractors

Hi,

You reported that your radiator isn't getting warm?

Before we send contractors and incur charges, we need to ensure that his visit is required.

There are a couple of things that you need to confirm...

1. Is your radiator turned up to the highest setting? You can check the setting yourself, * is the frost setting, 1-5 is lowest to highest.
Turn your radiator to number 5.

2. Check that the heating is working in the rest of the house. Usually there will be a thermostat installed to control the temperature in the house. The heating should not be on 24/7 so ensure that you check at various times of day.

3. Report to us that you've checked these things and what you have found. There may be an issue with heating in the whole house, there may be an issue with only your heater, either way, we need to know so that we can ensure the correct contractor is sent to you.

!Please note, if the above checks are not carried out and it is found that they would have prevented needless call out, your landlord may wish to pass the charge to you.!
